Colouring
There are many ways in which to colour hair, each creates it's own unique look. We use the highest quality products such as wella & affinage. They create deep brown's, rich red's & multitonal blonde's, all with minimal damage and conditioning effects. We also offer alternative ways to colouring such a certain advance techniques that can create a certain look and maximise coverage. This may include freehand, using certain shapes to create a colour look, maximising blonde coverage to really lighten hair, using several different colours to create glamorous locks. Ask our staff or stylists for more details.
Stripping information: Strippers are only used in extreme cases, we have found a stripper that conditions the hair rather than damaging it, it is slightly more expensive than the chemical strippers but leaves your hair nourished and shiny. This can also be used as a treatment for severely damaged hair.
Before you consider having your hair stripped there are many other options for lightening hair such as;
Diagonal slices: (Advanced technique) a method of sectioning larger slices of hair at a certain angle covering more hair than highlights. This is the best option for lightening hair. A full head of diagonal slices can cover most of the hair causing multitonal effects.
Large highlights: Thicker weaves of hair which lightens the hair more than standard highlights.
Advanced Tecniques:
Diagonal slices: a method of sectioning larger slices of hair at a certain angle covering more hair than highlights but create an even, blended, lightening effect. It can also be used to turn light hair to dark which looks natural.
Shape colouring: Colouring certain parts of the hair using different shapes for different effects. This can be used with just one colour or several colours.
Layer colouring/ diagonal layering: Using several different colours in layers and building them to create multitonal effects.
