If your questions aren't answered by the following FAQ then please contact us and we'll be happy to help and guide you.
Q: Why do you have a minimum charge of £25?
A: We have a minimum charge set because our prices are based on time allocated, travel time, products and fuel. It wouldn't be worth coming out for any less.
Q: Do you offer student or OAP discount?
A: All our prices are based upon time rather than products, we don't offer a OAP or student discount. We do offer benefits discount, so if you are in receipt of benefits you will be eligible for a discount.
Q: Will you need parking?
A: If there is limited access please make staff aware.
Q: What will I need at my hair and/or beauty treatment?
A: A chair, plug socket and worktop.
Q: Do I have to pay VAT?
A: VAT is inclusive of all prices on the website, what you see is what you pay.
Q: What kind of products do you use?
A: We use professional brands such as; Tigi, BedHead, Catwalk, Wella, L'Oréal Professional etc. We only use products you would find at an exceptional salon.
Q: Do I need a skin test to have Highlights?
A: No, when you have highlights we use foil and create packets so colour never touches your scalp.
Q: Are mobile hairdressers unqualified?
A: All of our staff are fully trained, most with NVQ level 4 (the highest course available). Alongside that our staff are trained on a 3 monthly basis. We believe there is a stigma attached to hairdressers, especially mobile ones and we like to disprove that. Many of our staff have been in other fields of work previously and decided to take their freelance hairdressing to the next level.
Q: What if I'm not happy?
A: We'd like to think that everyone loves our service. If you aren't happy then please view our terms and conditions
Q: Why do I have to wash my hair?
A: Sinks in salons are always at the correct height for staff to wash hair, but when you're in a clients home you may have to lean over a sink or bath. This is not good for correct positioning and we cover this a lot in our health and safety courses. Unfortunately we cannot make any exceptions.
Q: What if I'm disabled?
A: Usually we can work around most disabilites. Let us know if you have any special requirements.
